Hilary R. Kustoff
Hilary R. Kustoff was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She attended George Washington University as a member of the Women’s Division I Tennis Team and graduated summa cum laude in 2013. In the top 1% of her class, she was awarded early induction into Phi Beta Kappa as a junior. Majoring in International Affairs with a Middle East Region concentration, she focused her studies on terrorism, world conflicts, and mass genocide. Ms. Kustoff graduated with her Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2016. She excelled in both written and oral advocacy winning the Walter P. Gewin Best Brief Award and advancing to the quarterfinals of the Campbell Moot Court Competition. Based on her performance, she was selected for the Moot Court Board and the Jessup International Law Moot Court Team. Prior to joining Ortiz & Batis, Ms. Kustoff gained invaluable litigation experience as an Assistant District Attorney in the family violence division and also as a family law practitioner representing fathers in child custody disputes.
