Leslie V Rodriguez
Leslie Vasquez Rodriguez was born and raised in Weslaco, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, in English and Communication Studies from St. Mary’s University. She received her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2014. While in law school, Leslie was a member of the External Advocacy Program’s mock trial team and was admitted into the Order of the Barristers. She was licensed to practice in Texas in 2014. After law school, she was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney, at the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where she would eventually join the Major Crimes Division, as a felony prosecutor. As an Assistant District Attorney, Leslie tried and supervised over 30 jury trials, including three murder trials. Most recently, she represented plaintiffs in personal injury litigation. She is a board member of the St. Mary’s University Law Alumni Association and currently serves as the President of the Hispanic Law Alumni Association.
